Introduction to the Atoll

Kaafu Atoll with a total of 107 islands its 9 inhabited islands, is situated in the mid-region of the country. With a population of 9933 and situated at around 70° 30' East - 4° 0' North geographically, it is one of the most rapidly developing atolls in the country.

The Economy of the Atoll depends mainly on the tourism industry.

The atoll capital is Thulusdhoo, and the Atoll cheif is Mr. Mohamed Adam. The Atoll office is situated in the island of Thulusdhoo. In addition to the 9 inhabited islands, majority of the Tourist Resorts in the country are situated in this Atoll. Kaafu Atoll comprises of the Southern division and the Nothern Division. Capital Male and Thulusdhoois in the northern Kaafu atoll.

ކާފު އަތޮޅަކީ ތަރައްޤީ ގޮތުން ބަލައިފިނަމަ، ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ނިސްބަތުން އެންމެ ހަލުވި ދުވެއްޔެއްގައި ކުރިޔަށްދާ އެއް އަތޮޅެވެ. ރާއްޖޭގެ ވެރިކަން ކުރާ ރަށް އެކުލެވޭ މި އަތޮޅުގައި، ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ އެންމެ ބޮޑު ވައިގެ ބަނދަރު ހިމެނިފައި ވީކަމީވެސް މި އަތޮޅުގައި ޓޫރިސްޓް ރިސޯޓް ރަށްތައް ގިނައިން އެކުލެވުމެވެ،
107 ރަށް އެކުލެވޭ ކ.އަތޮޅުގައި މީހުން ދިރިއުޅެނީ 9 ރަށުގައި އެވެ. 70 ޑިގްރީ 30 މިނެޓް އުތުރު، 4 ޑިގްރީ 0 މިނިޓް އުތުރު ގައި ވާ މި އަތޮޅުގައި 9933 މީހުން ދިރިއުޅެއެވެ. މިގޮތުން މި އަތޮޅުގެ މައިގަނޑު އިގްތިސާދީ މަސައްކަތަކީ ޓޫރިޒަމް އެވެ، އަތޮޅުގެ ވެރިކަންކުރަނީ ތުލުސްދޫގައި އެވެ. އަތޮޅުވެރިން އަލްފާޡިލް މުހައްމަދު އާދަމް ގެ ބެއްލެވުމުގެ ދަށުން މި އަތޮޅުގައި ތަރައްޤީގެ ގިނަގުނަ މަޝްރޫއުތައް ހިންގެއެވެ،
